Federmair
Ella
Since 2015 I have been working as a physiotherapist and have found my passion in sports. For more than ten years I dedicated my free time to gymnastics and learned very early to recognize, change and optimize movement patterns. In addition, I have played soccer for many years and have been working with the Bundesliga soccer players of SKN St. Pölten for some time. In recent years I have gained professional experience both abroad (USA) and in Austria in the fields of orthopaedics, traumatology, paediatrics and neurology.
As a physiotherapist, it is important to me to see people as a whole, to respond to their individual needs and to help them improve their life situation with empathy. Together we analyse the current situation, define realistic goals and work with fun and motivation on the step-by-step implementation of the desired result.

Gruber
Stefan
My name is Stefan Gruber – in 2016 I completed my training as a physiotherapist at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna. Directly after my training I gained my first experience at the AKH Vienna in the field of internal medicine (oncology, cardiology, bone marrow transplant). Simultaneously with my start at the AKH Vienna, I started my training as a Euopean Sport Physiotherapist and completed it in May 2019.
Since the field of orthopaedics / sports orthopaedics has always appealed to me the most, I knew what I wanted to focus on professionally. By getting to know Prof. Dr. Janousek I became part of the MedTeam in May 2018, and since then I have been caring for patients in the Landstraße, both in the postoperative and in the purely conservative area.
Personally I have been active in the world of sports since my childhood. Starting with hobby soccer, through Badmington and several years of gymnastics, I finally ended up in fitness, weightlifting and crossfit. I chose this profession because I firmly believe that there are reasons why the human body is built the way it is. Why there are certain structures in our body that both steer and prevent movements, both accelerate and brake. Everyday life demands a multitude of movement patterns, which can disturb, hinder or even prevent the complex interaction of all structures in the body.
My goal as a sports physiotherapist is to care for my patients in such a way that they can resume their professional, hobby-sporting or performance-sporting everyday life completely.

Krenkel
Nina
My name is Nina Mariella Krenkel. I completed my training as a physiotherapist at the FH Campus Vienna in 2015. Since my childhood movement, training and sport have been fixed parts of my life. Tennis, soccer, skiing and athletics are sports that I practice as a hobby and in terms of performance. Especially in sports the different performance parameters of the body are shown. The complexity of the human body and its motion sequences aroused my interest in physiotherapy, they inspire and fascinate me to this day.
The restoration of a healthy state and an efficient, fast recovery are the big goals of physiotherapy for me. Here it is important for me to work out goals with patients and to take physiotherapeutic measures to achieve the individual goals of each and every one.
Through my physiotherapeutic work with patients, specific topics have aroused my interest and encouraged me to further my education in the areas of ESP sports physiotherapy, myofascial taping, myofascial integration, cranio sacral, treatment strategies for chronic back pain and tinnitus.

Kurka
Christian
After successfully completing my physiotherapy training in 2011, I worked for two years in a private therapy centre in Upper Austria (specialiying in the areas: traumatology and orthopaedics). The focus was on reintegration into sport – in the sense of sports physiotherapy. Subsequently, I was able to gain a lot of experience in a rehabilitation centre in Baden near Vienna – with a focus on rheumatology and orthopaedics.
Since 2016 I have been working as a physiotherapist at MedTeam using numerous treatment concepts (e.g. medical training therapy, manual therapy according to Maitland, osteopathy). I have also been studying at the International Academy of Osteopathy since 2018.
When I’m not in the process of getting my patients into top form, you’ll find me climbing, hiking or on my mountain bike – all in the spirit of „Who rests, rusts“.
